National Recognition for Grassroots Leadership

A remarkable story of empowerment unfolded this year as the Rehti Jagriti Mahila Sansthan and its village women’s groups gained national acclaim for their efforts in livelihood and resource management. The women took charge of water supply management in their villages, introducing a structured tariff system and ensuring sustainable sanitation.

Their dedication and efficiency drew praise from the Government of India, which invited them to New Delhi to be honoured at a national ceremony. The recognition was followed by a state‑level award, affirming the organisation’s growing influence and the strength of its grassroots work.

Adding to the year’s achievements, RJMS Chief Executive Officer received the prestigious “Nagar Gaurav Samman” from regional representatives and the local legislator. The event was graced by television actor Neha Mehta, known for her role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma, as the special guest.

The organisation’s credibility was further reinforced when the local MLA extended financial support of ₹15,000 towards its mission, symbolising strong political and social trust in its initiatives.

These honours mark more than institutional success—they represent a powerful shift in how rural women are shaping governance and community development. RJMS stands today as a beacon of leadership, proving that when women lead from the ground up, transformation reaches every corner of society.
